I took a ride on an Air Force cargo plane dropping secret radio equipment to secret guys near the coast. I'm not sure what you call this guy, a crew chief, a loadmaster, a kicker, but his job was to open the rear ramp, wait for the pilot or navigators instructions and then push the cargo palette like crazy, but not follow the load out the door. Secret, but very low drama or risk. A nice quite job with minimum risk, warm meals and your own bed at night. |
