Service Brochure
I asked for an unserviceable circuit board to use in this photograph. We cast the board on top of a lucite block
and cut the resulting sandwich into a map of the U.S. After the shot was over I received a call from the company's
warehouse asking where the board was. My response was, "Uh, why?"
Guess what? They said the board
could be repaired and it had a high residual value. I still owe a favor to the person
that got me off of that hook.
No electronic tricks here, not even one. Just one piece of film. The red line is a neon tube. The lucite block is mounted on black plex with a hole in it for bottom lighting. But where is the light for the halo around the map? From this angle it should be right behind the models head. |
