photo illustrator: Roger Hawkins This is a photo illustration. I had nothing to do with the three original photos. Only the final visualization and the new viewpoint of the illustration are mine. I contributed in terms of composition, merging of images, editorial perspective, and colorization. DASPO photographer (Dept.of the Army Special Photographic Office) Chuck Abbott is the subject. He was photographed in black and white by fellow DASPO photographer and nationally recognized photojournalist Dick Durrance II.
