This cover sketch was done for the National Advanced Systems "Alternative" magazine. This was done in the pre electronic art days when making a sketch was less difficult than sending out for a photo mock up.

Unfortunately the original photo was not as rich as this sketch of a pair of ornate Korean shutters.

However, I am never at a loss for ideas, so the back up concept turned out to be at least as good.

This issue of the Alternative magazine focused on National Advanced Systems' clients among the "Five Tigers of Asia."
